How To Make Porto’s Cheese Rolls Recipe?

Necessary Ingredients

  • 1 pound Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 cups Flour, sifted
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • Ten tablespoons of Butter, melted
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • Four tablespoons Milk
  • Four teaspoons Vinegar  


Step 1:

In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and milk. Set aside. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in another mixing bowl. Set aside.

Step 2:

In a third mixing bowl, combine the grated cheese with melted Butter. Add in the eggs and vinegar slowly and stir to mix well.

Step 3:

Add half of the mixture to the flour mixture and stir until just combined. Add the rest of the cross and gently fold it with a spatula.

Step 4:

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Step 5:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a baking sheet. Then, roll out the chilled cheese dough on a floured surface and cut it into circles using a cutter or just cut it into squares and rectangular shapes. Place them on a prepared baking sheet, about 3 inches apart.

Step 6:

Bake the Cheese Rolls for 35 minutes. Let them sit for 10 minutes on a cooling rack before serving. Serve & Enjoy!
